About Simon

Simon Kozak is the marketing and communications lead for Ember Korowai Takitini, a leading NGO group operating in the mental health and addictions sector in New Zealand. Simon is an experienced and award-winning marketer, with over 30 years’ experience, most of it in advertising agencies in the UK, NZ, and Australia, along with some client-side experience as Head of Communications for Auckland University of Technology.

He has many well-known campaigns under his belt, and you will almost certainly have seen his work. Simon holds a Westpac Business Awards Excellence in Marketing Gold Award.

Simon believes that the love of what we do drives culture and performance. A creative communicator at heart, Simon believes that the best way to engage a workforce is to hold a mirror up to what’s already there, celebrate what works, capture what people love about what they do, and use that as a foundation for engaging with any development, growth, and change.
