About Tim

I was taught from a young age to take care of the things that matter most to you. So, here’s a statement that’ll set the scene…I LOVE PEOPLE (and the Wellington Phoenix)! Luckily, I’ve found my waka of choice, talent acquisition (TA). As most other recruiters, we just ‘fall’ into it. I’m no different. Before working in TA, I coached football, it was incredible ride getting to work with a diverse range of people. My passion for TA is like a good romcom i.e. you’re reasonably clear on the outcome, but the journey is where the magic happens. My take on TA is that the emphasis needs to be at the fundamental level, that is, the people. Having a human-centric & co-design approach has shaped the notion of ‘living in the moments that matter’. He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata he tangata he tangata!
